Lor du show " RAW ", Trish Stratus a fait son grand retour en participant a un match par équipe avec John Cena contre Santino Marella et Beth Phoenix .La guerre entre les deux divas est réaparu et Trish a fait comprendre a Beth Phoenix que c'était elle la meilleure.En remportant la victoire grâce a un FU de John Cena.

Moi je dis John Cena + Trish Stratus cela fait un beau petit couple N'est-ce pas ?

Rivalité avec Mark Henry
Lors du Raw du 27 octobre , il perd contre Rey Mysterio. Après le match Rey Mysterio et Evan Bourne se serrent la main , mais Kane arrive et il frappe Mysterio , Evan tente de le sauver , mais Mark Henry intervient et fait son World Strongers Slam sur Evan Bourne et Kane porte un chokeslam sur Rey Mysterio. Après le show de la ECW le 28 Octobre, Evan Bourne se serait gravement blessé à une cheville et son indisponibilité serait de 4 mois. Il reçoit le Slammy Awards de la meilleur prise de finition dans l'émmission spéciale de RAW.

Le 14 octobre, à la ECW, il bat Chavo Guerrero et obtient donc sa qualification à Cyber Sunday.Les fans doivent voter entre lui, Mark Henry ou Finlay. Lors de WWE Cyber Sunday 2008 il a ete le choix du public pour le ECW Championship face à Matt Hardy mais il a perdu ce match suite à un Twist of fate de ce dernier .
